Following changes in environmental law in South Africa, we established our organisation to meet the growing need for GIS services in the environmental and mining industries.
We currently outsource our main-stream business from the larger environmental companies. The demand for such projects is growing due to our ability to deliver high-quality GIS products and services in a timely manner at competitive cost.
We ensure that every map is attractive, readable, and clearly conveys the desired information.
We have both technical skills and professional experience to translate environmental study objectives into GIS form using our experience in GIS technology in a wide range of applications. Our technical skills derive from honours degrees in Geography and environmental studies from the University of Johannesburg.
We specialize specifically in the ARC/INFO software products; it enables the integration of many GIS data layers, collected and sourced from various software vendors, to create accurate images of the project site and to highlight those environmental receptors most affected by development.
We create various environmental models to portray sensitive areas according to predefined factors. By combining the various analyses we ensure that impact is minimised and the most environmentally friendly project development follows.
Our mapping skill also stems from our nine years experience in overland Africa travel and river expeditions. We have been commissioned to provide mapping of national parks in both Angola and Zambia.
